EVAP Module
Safe and reliable - fuel tank ventilation and diagnosis system
The EVAP module integrates the carbon filter and the leak diagnosis functionality. As a result, there are no separate components that need connecting hoses or brackets. Depending on the specific needs of the customer, different levels of integration are possible - from pre-assembled components to fully integrated systems. With fewer components and connections, the tank system is more reliable.
The tank diagnosis system, which is based on an evaporative natural vacuum (ENV), detects and reports any leaks in the tank system. The vacuum method is passive and extremely environmentally friendly. Unlike the overpressure leak detection method, this diagnostic process does not result in leaks expelling any vapors.
Our electric vapor management valve (EVMV) system is designed to ensure that any vapors in the activated carbon filter and tank system are vented into the intake manifold. This means that tank ventilation can be managed reliably regardless of the engine’s operational state. As a result, our tank diagnosis and ventilation systems have a reputation for being particularly reliable, cost-effective, and error-free, as demonstrated in practical applications.
Depending on customer requirements, these components can be combined in a separate module or used as part of the modular function carrier.
